As asphalt pavement weathers and ages, roughness and small surface cracks start appearing. Moisture that infiltrates the pavement will quickly cause it to weaken. An asphalt overlay is the most effective and economical treatment. After addressing any repairs, Action Asphalt will install an additional layer of hot asphalt called an “overlay”. After determining the origins of the failure we will either use a Petromat interlayer with hot asphalt or fiber reinforced asphalt for added strength.

New asphalt installations will involve site preparation, grading, base rock installation and asphalt paving.
