Once asphalt pavement has deteriorated or shows signs of “alligator cracking” it requires the asphalt be removed. Action Asphalt will accomplish removal by saw cutting specific damaged areas, jack hammering or grinding out the old asphalt, removing all spoils, re-compacting the base rock, applying SS-1 tack binder to all vertical edges and installing new hot asphalt and compacting.
